Follow Your Heart

Happy Saturday! This is Julie from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers with you today.

With Valentine's Day getting ever closer, I made another 'heart' card:

I stamped the Great Impressions rubber stamp, Skunk with Flowers (F606) on white card stock.  I colored just the flowers with bright, neon Copic markers, then fussy cut the image.

I cut the card front out on my Silhouette, using a file from The Cutting Cafe.  I stamped the Great Impressions sentiment Follow Your Heart (B219) directly on the card base.

There you have it -- an easy, CAS-style card, ready for Valentine's Day.

The Great Impressions Stamps Lovey Dovey Challenge  is ending, but another challenge will be starting soon!  If you use any Great Impressions Stamps in your creations,  please link it in the customer gallery for a chance to win free stamps.  Please 'like' our Facebook page, too!

I'll see you again next Saturday.  Until then, happy crafting!

You're on my Mind ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a A1 Note Card featuring some of the stamps available at Great Impressions Stamps.

Today's card features the lovely Ocean Dreams (F366) and On My Mind Sentiment (D498). Copic Markers were used to color Ocean Dreams with a bit of distress ink for the sky, and your panel is complete. I went with bright cheerful colors for the background.

I really love the combination of these two stamps, and they are perfect for letting a friend or loved one know that they are On Your Mind.

Here's a closer look at the Ocean Dreams ...

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out our current Great Impressions Challenge, and if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

So Special

Hi there! Today I have a cute card to share with you using some Great Impressions stamps.

I stamped this adorable F600 Valentine Sparky onto patterned paper and then colored him with Copic markers. Coloring on top of colored paper gives added interest and for certain images eliminates the need for fussy cutting or mounting.

I used D500 So Very Special for the sentiment and heat embossed it in white. Some sequins finished it off. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Forever Yours

Good morning!  Lorie here and it's Tuesday...that means we've shaken off the dreaded Monday and are onto the fun of the week, right?  Excellent!  How about I share with you another card I made with some fabulous Great Impressions Stamps?  Okay...
I've made another Valentine's Day card using the following stamps:  E859S Forever Yours, A54S Hearts & Dots, and A78S Hugs & Kisses.  For this card I used papers from Jillibean Soup/Dutch Mustard Soup (which I've had forever), the main panel/wave panel is cut with a frame from Craftin' Desert Divas, and the heart is from SU!.  I LOVE the Forever Yours stamp as it is exactly how I feel about my hubby!  I also used Illuminate smooch on each of the solid hearts on the top layer of the card.
Inside is just a little bit of patterned paper that was left from the main panel and plenty of room to write a sappy message.  *wink, wink*

I would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge.  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!

It Would Stink...

Happy Monday, friends!  I'm back with another creation that uses some super fun stamps from the Great Impressions online store.  Today I'm sharing another Valentine with a cute critter and punny sentiment--SQUEE!  Take a peek...

I added different washi tape strips to the card base before adding the image and sentiment.  I stamped the image, F606 Skunk With Flowers, onto white cardstock, then colored in the flowers, eyes, and ears with Sakura glitter gel pens.  I then fussy cut him out before adding it to the card base with dimensional foam adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment, D458 It Would Stink, onto black cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I cut the end to look like a banner.  I added it behind the image, but with dimensional foam to keep the layered look.

The last thing to do was add some rhinestones and sequins for added texture and shine.  I think this is super darling--I hope you do, too!  Please leave me a comment below and let me know what you think!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

A Ton of Love...

Greetings, fellow stamp lovers!  Julie here today with a sweet Valentine card to share with you.

Today, I'm showing off the delightful Heart Struck Elephant(F571):

I colored Heart Struck elephant (F571) with Copic markers, and fussy cut it out. I mounted this onto a circle die cut. Then I stamped the coordinating sentiment A Ton (B238) directly onto the card base.

I try to make Valentine cards for all the residents in the nursing home where I work.  I've got one more for the pile!  Yea!

Vera & Mable ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a FUN card featuring some of the stamps available at Great Impressions Stamps.

When I saw the NEW January Stamp featuring Vera & Mable Dancing the Charleston (J122) I just couldn't resist them. Vera & Mable are having so much fun, and I truly had an awesome time giving them some color with my Copic Markers. Distress Ink was applied around the lovely ladies, Glossy Accents was applied to the lenses of each of the ladies glasses, and Liquid Pearls was used for the center of the flowers and the necklace. The Retro Sentiment (C493) is such an awesome sentiment and perfect for these lovely ladies!

Here's another look at the Vera & Mable ...

Moose Love

Hello! Hope you are having a great week so far! Today I have a card to share with you for Great Impressions.

This is one of my favorite GI images called G518 Elliot Blowing Valentine Wishes as it's just so cute and funny! I had a lot of fun watercolor this sweet image and added a hand written tag.

The die cut frame was also watercolored so it matched the heart bubbles. I hope you have a great rest of your day!

Knock, knock...

Happy Tuesday friends!  Once again, I'm super excited to share with you the project I made with my Great Impressions Stamps.  I'm on a Valentine's theme again today this time, though, it is a fun door hanger...check it out:
So for this fun project I used my cameo to cut the shape of the door hanger.  The Great Impressions stamps I used are:  D474S Happy Valentine (in melon mambo on the little tag) and A54S Hearts & Dots (in real red on the red heart).  My paper is old SU! designer series paper and that includes the heart on the outside.  As you can see in the photo there is just enough room in the pocket to add a little chocolate square for the recipient 'cuz really...who doesn't love chocolate?!

I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge.  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!

Thanks for stopping by and see you next week!

Quill You Be Mine?

Happy Monday, friends!  I'm back with another creation that uses some super fun stamps from the Great Impressions online store.  Today I'm sharing a Valentine with a cute critter and punny sentiment--MY FAVE!  Take a peek...

I stamped the image, E825 Spikey the Porcupine, directly onto the kraft card base, then colored it in with colored pencils. He is such a cutie, don't you think?!  I then stamped the sentiment, D475 Stuck on You, with red ink onto the card base.  A few rhinestones were added for some shine and texture.

I then added some fun patterned papers and stitched ribbon to the bottom of the card to anchor my little porcupine guy.  He is such a doll, and I LOVE him!  I hope you like my finished product, too!  I'd love for you to leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!

Dogs Leave Pawprints...

Greetings, fellow stamp lovers.  Julie here today with a piece of heart work to share with you.

My good friend recently lost her 15 year old Golden Retriever.  I've been wanting to come up with a remembrance piece to give her.  I wanted it to be sweet, but not too sad.  Here's it is:

I used Great Impressions rubber stamp Valentine Sparky (F600), and colored the stamped image with Copic markers.  The sentiment is a combination of computer generating and brads.

The frame is an SVG file, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo.  It took lots of layering, but I like the effect.

Don't forget the Great Impressions Stamps Lovey Dovey Challenge that is going on all month.  We'd love to see a Great Impressions Stamp, but it's not a requirement.  If you do use one, please link it in the customer gallery for a chance to win free stamps.  Please 'like' our Facebook page, too!

Special Thanks ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a lovely Thank You card featuring one of the stamps available at Great Impressions Stamps.

I love when you get a beautiful image and sentiment together in one stamp, so I couldn't resist picking up the Spring Special Thanks (G364) to create with. Copic Markers were used to color the image, a bit of distress ink around the flowers, and White Opal Liquid Pearls for the center of the flowers. Create a background and pop on your panel for a beautiful card.

You can never have enough Thank You cards in your stash, and I really love how quick and easy it is to create a work of art with this stamp.

Here's a closer look at the Spring Special Thanks ...

Kitty Sweetheart

Happy Wednesday! Today I have a sweet Valentine's card to share you with using some adorable Great Impressions stamps.

This super cute image is called E860 Kitty With Heart and I first stamped it in Versafine Onyx black ink and watercolored it. I then trimmed it out so I could fit it into my heart frame. When the heart the kitty is holding was dry I added some white polka dots with a white gel pen. The sentiment is E859 Forever Yours.

I added some machine stitching and a sprinkling of sequins to finish it off. Hope you enjoyed today's card and thank for dropping by!
