Witching you ...

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! Ruza here to share another project featuring the awesome Great Impressions Stamps.

Halloween is fast approaching so I created a CAS card to celebrate the occasion using the awesome F589 Witching You Sentiment. After stamping the sentiment I layered a couple of different decorative washi tapes along the bottom and bling around the sentiment.

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out our current Great Impressions Challenge, and if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Until next week ... Enjoy!

Fancy Pop Up

Happy Tuesday!

Not 100% sure what style of card this is, so I have dubbed it a Fancy Fold Pop Up Card.  Does that work?  I used the beautiful Great Impressions flower stamp F553 Large Stitched Flower as my 'Pop Up' as well as the AA24 Solid Sunflower and the Thinking Of You Sentiment from  E791 Sweet Sentiments

The solid sunflower is stamped in More Mustard on the strip and again in Antique Linen on the tag.  I also used a Sakura Black Glaze pen to accent the stitched flower.

Swiss Dots Embossing Folder to add some texture, pretty yellow gingham ribbon, button and Jute Twine as accents.  Classic Circle and Stitched Tag dies used.

There's still a few hours left to play along in our September Challenge.  Good Luck!  And please upload your Great Impressions creations into our Customer Gallery.

Thanks so much for stopping by, love it when you do!

Enjoy~~

Spider Web "Hi!"

Hi, all!  Time for me to share another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today, I'm sharing MORE of my favorite Halloween stamps with you!  Check out my card...

I LOVE the style of this web, G379 Spider Web, and how it works so well with AA23 Itsy Bitsy Spider.  It's the perfect combo for a quick, CAS Halloween card!

I used traditional Halloween colors along with black and white chevron paper for this card.  A few enamel shapes and a bit of glossy accents was all I needed to add some shine!  I super love the way this turned out!  I hope that you do, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think! :)

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Pumpkin Puppy Birthday Card

Welcome back fellow card makers! I don't know about you but I never seem to have enough birthday cards around, so here's an autumn themed one to add to my stash:

I used a paw print embossing folder with a bit of distressing around the edges, paw print ribbon, and a paw print brad to go with this cute dog stamp (Pumpkin Puppy H259). I used the Tags G483 stamp for the banner sentiment.
Don't forget to join us for the Trick or Tree-t Challenge if you haven't already. There are still a few days left before this month is history! Have a great weekend and I'll see you back here next Friday!

Thursday with Toni

Hello!  Time for another Great Impressions card for you.  I was totally bewitched (hee hee--get it? Yes, I am a dork!) when I saw the G433 Witches Brew and B217 Have Some Brew coordinating sentiment.  Again, I cut apart the sentiment so it would look like it's blasting up from the cauldron.  I'm a lover of white space but the area above the sentiment seemed very lonely so I extended the stippling up and around to look like swirling, sparkly smoke.  I love how this turned out!

See you next week with another GI designToni

Altered Candle ...

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! Ruza here to share another project featuring the awesome Great Impressions Stamps.

Size: 5-1/2" H x 2-13/16" in Diameter

I enjoy Altering Candles with stamped images so I created a candle for my friend to be given with the card I created for last months Challenge.

Details about the above card can be found here.

I stamped the Savored & Treasured (G82) sentiment and the Elegant Butterflies (J119) onto tissue paper, and cut around each image. Using wax paper and my heat gun I adhered the images to my candle.

Once all of the stamps were attaached I applied Petal Pink Liquid Pearls to the antennas of the butterflies and then around the top edge of the candle.

These make amazing gifts and they really are easy to make. There is an awesome Tutorial over at Splitcoaststampers for Stamping on Candles, which includes a video showing you how it's done.

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out our current Great Impressions Challenge, and if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Until next week ... Enjoy!

I Want My Mummy!

Hi, all!  Time for me to share another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today, I'm sharing MORE of my favorite Halloween stamps!  Check out my card...

This mummy, E687 Mummified, is one of my absolute favorite stamps for Halloween cards!  It works PERFECTLY with E881 Happy Halloween because of how the sentiment curves.  I LOVE this fun combo!

I used some fun bold Halloween colors and black and white chevron papers for this card.  Buttons, rhinestones, and enamel shapes, along with liquid pearls, accent everything.  I totally adore the way this turned out!  I hope that you agree!  Please do leave me a comment below to let me know what you think! :)

Harvest Truck

Welcome back again! I'll keep my post short and sweet today.

I used Abundant Blessings C384 for the sentiment, masking off the bottom half so that I could use this card before Thanksgiving. Image is Harvest Truck G471.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope your weekend is full of abundant blessings!

Thursday with Toni

Hello!   Time for another Great Impressions card for you, this time covered in glitter goodness.  I was totally inspired by my design teammate, Donna's wonderful glitter card (if you haven't seen it yet on the GI blog, you will!).   I had some black vinyl stickers in my stash so I grabbed one of those and went nuts with glitter and Copics.  And do you see how well the E694 Sorry I Missed Your Special Day sentiment brings it all together?  Love!

You know, it just occurred to me the sentiment could be used for any occasion that you missed--wedding, graduation, etc, by omitting the bottom.  Versatility!!!!

See you next week with another GI designToni

Birthday Shaker Card ...

Good morning and Happy Wednesday! Ruza here to share another project featuring the awesome Great Impressions Stamps.

When I saw the Mason Jar (F616) from this months release the first thing I thought of was a Shaker Card.  To get the window for the Mason Jar, I stamped the image and used my knife to cut the image out. I went very slow and just a hair away from the exterior edge of the stamp.  I adhered clear cardstock behind the Mason Jar opening with 1/4" Scor-Tape, and then added 3D foam tape around the jar opening.

I then stamped the decorative part of the Mason Jar several times, colored each section with my Copic Markers, fussy cut them out and layered them back together. Next up was to stamp the Mason Jar on my cardbase. Once that was done I put some tiny beads in the center of the Mason Jar and adhered the cover with more 3D Foam Tape around the entire cover.

The colors on the cover were created with a variety of Distress Inks and a dauber. Now I did this a little backward ... I added the Distress Inks after I adhered the cover to my cardbase vs. before.

The Happy Birthday (C340) Sentiment was stamped on my Nestabilities Ribbon Banner Die, where I cut small slits on both ends to weave in some Toffee Twine which was used to tie it on my card. The final step was to add Enamel Dots, and Liquid Pearls were applied, around the cover.

Here's a closer look of the Mason Jar (F616) laying down ...

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out our current Great Impressions Challenge, and if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Until next week ... Enjoy!

When I saw this Great Impressions stamp G458 Party Ducks I knew I had to make a Shaker card!  These Party Ducks just screeeeeeam FUN!

Images colored with Copic Markers.  I fussy cut them out and then layered on to blue card stock to hi-light them.  Tag and Banner dies used.  Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  Fun and bright Designer Paper to add to the party mood.  Adhesive Rhinestones and Baker's Twine for added for accents.

Beautiful Boots

Hi, all!  Time for me to share another creation using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Today, I'm featuring a *NEW* stamp that is just SO pretty!  Check out my card...

This beautiful image, G528 Cowboy Boots With Flowers, is something I wouldn't normally use, but it is just so pretty that I HAD to get it and try to do it justice!  All I had to do was stamp it and color it.  I chose to use kraft paper to give a more vintage feel.

All that I had to do was accent it with a little bit of twine, a button, some Stickles, and lots of distressing.  I LOVE the way this turned out!  I hope that you agree!  Please do leave me a comment below to let me know what you think!
