Greatest Gift At Christmas

Happy Friday and thanks for taking the time to visit the Great Impressions Blog. Another weekend is upon us and do you believe that it is only 25 days until Christmas.

There is still time to get started on those Christmas cards and today I am showing a stamp and card design that would be easy to mass produce.

My card is using the stamp "the greatest gift G290". There is minimal coloring and I did that with markers. I paired the stamp with some red patterned paper, a big chocolate scallop and some red ribbon for my bow. The bow easy helps me to make my bows.

I like the look of angled panels-just adds a little interest to a card. If you need a card idea use this one. The stamp is in the online store so what are you waiting for (lol)!!!!

That's it for me today. See you next Friday.

Mary Marsh

card recipe:
stamp: the greatest gift G290
paper: kraft, chocolate chip, poppy red cardstock and patterned paper (stampin-up)
ink: memento tuxedo black
accessories: poppy red ribbon, scallop die, circle punch

Little Angel White on White

26 sleeps until Christmas Day!
What have you been working on?
Finishing up cards? Tags? Gift wrap? Wouldn't this little angel look adorable on any of those?

She's just the sweetest little bit, isn't she?
I accidentally snipped off her halo when I was cutting her out. Good thing I love to try new hobbies and had some gold wire sitting in a drawer...happy serendipity!

There are so many wonderful sentiments in the Great Impressions Stamps online store (you can even check your local craft store to see if these are in stock!) and this was another perfect fit!

By the way I have really enjoyed stopping by to see your wonderful creations linked up to the monthly challenge! Thank you for sharing them with us!

Hello Peeps!

We are celebrating this beautiful ladies birthday with a little virtual birthday party!
Here she is with some of her family.  She has this photo up on Facebook, so I'm thinking

began selling on line last year.  What a journey they have had!

And what's a party without birthday cards?!

Very Merry!

Welcome to my jammie day  Great Impressions Blog post! I hope you have a nice relaxing day planned!

I had this card in mind from the first time I saw this stamp! You know how a stamp just speaks to you!  Reminds me of the trees my grandsons just put up in their bedrooms today(yes, they take after Gwamma!)

I used just part of the sentiment stamp for this card-a great way to stretch sentiments as well. If you are a last minute lizzie stamper like me, then this Pine tree stamp will be a great addition to your stash!

Thanks for stopping in today... See you soon!

Vintage Big Wheel

Happy Friday and the day after Thanksgiving everyone. Thanks for taking the time from your "Black Friday" shopping  to visit the Great Impressions Stamps Blog.

We are having a sale as well. It's free shipping on orders over $25. So jump over to the online store and pick-up your Christmas stamps or even the one I am showing today.

This card is using the "vintage big wheel E683".  I stamped the bicycle in midnight muse and then used a Spellbinder circle die to cut it out. Layered that on another Spellbinder scalloped circle die and then layered that on a doily die cut from more mustard cardstock.

My pennants are from Spellbinders. I added some more mustard buttons in the corner and punched a razzleberry butterfly to complete my card.

Well that's my card for today. So until next time.......inky hugs.

Celebrate with Gratitude

Happy Thanksgiving!
I know not every one of our wonderful Great Impressions fans celebrates Thanksgiving, but I'm sure no matter where we live, we all have lots to be grateful for this year.

Family.
I am most grateful this year for family.
How do you define family?
Blood relations? Closest friends? Community?

I am grateful for our Great Impressions' family & that includes YOU!
Thank you for taking the time to leave uplifting comments, for supporting Great Impressions and sharing your wonderful projects with us every month! We appreciate you.

Here's a card I made with you in mind...

I stamped Berry Sprig (D281) along the outside of the heart cut out.
It adds a layer without adding bulk to the flower embellishments.

I spritzed the flowers with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists: Tuscan Sun, Sugar Maple & Rum Punch
Bliss Mist: Whipped Honey Butter (I love those names!)

Isn't this sentiment perfect for today?
[Here's another card I made using Abundant Blessings (C384) that is NOT a Thanksgiving card.]
A couple of strips of patterned paper from the stash to finish off the inside.

Thanks for stopping by the Great Impressions Stamps blog.
Next week join us for our Holiday Hop with the Ribbon Carousel!
However you celebrate today, may it be full of friends, family & love!

CAS Poinsettia & Berries Card

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving Eve! The card I'm sharing today uses this gorgeous poinsettia stamp. I colored the image with Copic markers, added some stickles, and that is it! The image is large and detailed, and I wanted it to be the focus of my card, so I limited my embellishments to some beautiful gold sheer ribbon.

(Supplies - (Stamps) Great Impressions Stamps: Poinsettia and Berries. Cardstock: Papertrey Ink. Other: Sitckles, ribbon, Copic markers.)
Mark and I are blessed this year to spend Thanksgiving with two wonderful sets of people (and an out of town visitor!). We are having a Thanksgiving lunch at a restaurant tomorrow around noon, then walking/running a 5k in the afternoon before having Thanksgiving dinner a little before 6pm. As Florida transplants I am grateful we have made wonderful friends that invite us over for the holidays!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Erin.

A Card and A Winner!

Good Tuesday Morning Crafty Friends!

This little guy's name is Murray and he is skating off to see his mousey friend with a holiday gift in tow.  I created a sparkled frosty scene for him to skate upon.  I adore the sentiment he is peering at.
It reminds me how white and clean the world looks outside my door after a fresh snow fall.
Which is pretty much all I like about snow! (lol!)

I layered my DP and popped Murray between for some yummy dimension.
I love how soft and pretty it turned out.

One of Those Days

Good Happy Monday to everyone. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

Today I am sharing a card that kind of has multiple feels to it.

This card it awesome to me.

Of course you can read into this several ways. I just love how the kitty is popping up out of the flowers.
One of those days is truly a great saying. It can be great or bad. For me it is great!

I used some some My Mind's Eye paper, spellbinder dies, twine, and half back pearls.

Hope your having a great day.

New Release Week with Santa's Buddy!

It's New Release Week  on the Great Impressions Blog!

This image was so fun to color up and add to this card. I used a few cutting files to set the scene for Santa's Buddy

I made this multi layer card using dimensionals to separate the three layers of trees and also the Santa image. The sentiment is also up on pop dots.

You can see many new release creations this week on our blog-so don't miss out!

Happy Friday everyone and thanks for taking the time to visit the Great Impressions Blog. Hope you have been enjoying all the new releases this week. The design team has shown such wonderful cards with all the new stamps.

My sample today is done with 2 new stamps -three snow friends J107 for my image. I colored these with prismacolor pencils and gamsol and paper pieced the pink scarf and hat. Added white polar flower soft on this layer as well. The snowflakes are glittered with a Sakura clear glitter pen.
