A Quiz

Can you guess what all these
Great Impressions Stamps have in common?
I'll give you a few seconds to think about it..............................
.........................................................................

Okay....times up. (giggle!)

If you guessed this you are getting warmer....

It's a CD holder I purchased at Office Max
and turned into this...

With a little imagination, I now have my very own
Great Impressions stamp organizer... with dividers
I created using only Great Impressions Stamps.
I love the retro circles on the side panel and
the fun fonts using just parts of Great Impressions sentiments.

I had a blast making this and
the box now has that shabby feel that I adore!
You can make this your own by
decorating it in your special style!

Isn't this packaging bright and cheery!
Makes it easy to find just the stamp I'm looking for.
I used the cardboard backs of paper pads topped with DP
and a fun punch to create the dividers.

Supplies
Not Shown:  Webster's Pages - Bloomers;
My Mind's Eye -  (Quite Contrary) paper scraps
Prima - paper scraps

I love that feeling of everything in it's place.
Doesn't happen too often around this busy house, but
at least my stamps now have a home!

Have a wonderful day!

Jenny

Life's a Beach

How is everyones Monday starting off??? Mine is off to a great start. I got some new crafty goodies and learned a few new techniques and made a few more projects. I think I will start saying I had a great Shanna kind of weekend lol. Is everyone excited now that CHA is over and the newest goodies are starting to roll out???

Well it is almost August which means a new release and challenge is coming your way.

So here is a little peek from our last release. I couldn't resist doing another summer theme card as it is still in the 100's here when it is not raining.

I used Life's a Beach (e761) with some Fancy Pants or Echo Park paper.

I didn't do too much just wanted something simple. I am working on my masculine ideas since I am due with a little man of my own at the end of the year. When your use to girlie boy is it hard.
Well hope you have been inspired for a last minute reach at wanting some summer fun!

Don't forget you still have time to enter our challenge for July!

Golf! What Else Is There?

Welcome to my Great Impressions Saturday post!

Happy Saturday Everyone!  Sue here today showing off this great golf sentiment . From the very first time I saw this stamp, I knew I had to have it! I have two son-in-laws that are golfing fanatics and I knew this would be a great stamp to use on a "manly"gift for them!  They are playing in a golf tournament together this weekend, so I thought now would be a good time as any to finish these up and give as birthday presents.

I added the golf sentiment to the little golf scene on the boxes I cut out with my silhouette.

Inside are a few candies and some birthday $! (I have a few more pictures on my blog of the little box if you want to see how it closes up)-- Didn't want to bore you if you don't get as excited over little boxes as I do LOL!

This was a fun birthday present to make up. Another "quick and easy" project. I hope you are not getting tired of these quick and easy projects. Seems everyone is so busy these days, it is nice to have a few quick projects on hand.

You can join our July  Great Impressions Monthly Challenge- HERE.(Theme-Color in the lines) Just a few days left!

Life's A Beach

Hey there, Crafters! I'm finally back home and getting unpacked. Spent a quick two weeks visiting friends and family and am looking forward to playing in the studio and getting inky!

Here's a fun card that reminds me of our vacation...even though we didn't make it to the beach this time, it sure was hot enough for some water fun!

The penguin is on a wire coil, so he wiggles when you open the card - my kids say he's doing the hula!

I used parts of images on some of the elements of this card. It was great being able to mix and match the designs. You can find the stamps I used in Great Impressions Stamps' Online Store:

I hope your summer has been fun in the sun!

An Announcement and a Card

Well Good Morning everyone!

How is everyone doing this fine Tuesday?

Things are bright and cheerful looking at Great Impressions Stamps!
We have a new design team member!
Her name is Mary Marsh and she is a sweetheart!
I've seen Mary's work before and fell in love with
her eclectic style.  Mary can take any style and make it her own.
She won me over with her contribution to our July coloring challenge.
You can view her challenge card and adorable blog here.

Welcome Mary we are excited to have you on our team!

Today I have a simple CAS card with a retro feel.
I love that you can use this stamp for any occasion
such as:
Thinking of You - on your birthday
  in your time of need
as you graduate
on your anniversary
and missing you

You get the idea (grin!)

Really an all around card to have on hand when you need one quick.
Just a little paper piecing, sponging and coloring.
With a bright gingham bow and sparkly gem to top it off I called it done.

Easy Peasy!

Supplies
Not Shown:  Gingham Ribbon from Michaels; Green paper scrap;
SU - Retired Lavender Lilac Stamp Pad

Enjoy the day!

Hugs,

Jenny
